EODID Event: “The Arbitration Clause’’
Under the moderation of Dr Haris Meidanis, PhD, FCIArb, Managing Partner of Meidanis, Seremetakis & Associates Law Firm and Director of EODID, the EODID event entitled “The Arbitration Clause in Practice” was successfully held.
With the participation of Ms Olympia Anastasopoulou, Special Secretary for Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Hellenic Ministry of Justice, and the presentations delivered by Pr Dimitrios Tsikrikas, Ass Pr Dimitrios Kyriazis, Ms Stella Merti and Ms Ioanna Vergeti, a substantive discussion developed around critical practical aspects of arbitration clauses, including the applicable law, the principle of separability, proper drafting, and the limits of binding third parties.
The event highlighted the importance of clear and precise drafting of arbitration clauses as a key tool for the effective resolution of disputes in today’s business environment.
